Carla helps clients successfully navigate marketing communication regulatory and business challenges. She is recognized globally as a key industry strategist, advocate of commercial free speech and of advertising self-regulation.

Throughout her career, Carla has received many honors including being inducted into the Advertising Hall of Fame after retirement from Leo Burnett Worldwide as its Executive VP, Chief Legal, Government & Corporate Affairs Officer.  Additional professional awards include the prestigious AAF Barton A. Cummings Gold Medal; the AAF Silver Medal; being named Chicago Catholic Lawyer of the Year, Chicago Advertising Woman of the Year and receiving the Anti‐Defamation League’s Women of Achievement Award.

Ms. Michelotti is a VP of the IAA and Vice‐chair of the Marketing Committee of the U.S. Council for International Business. She is a past chair of the AAF, and sits on numerous charitable and professional boards including the ASRC, AAF, EASA, and the IAA, Athena International, Girl Scouts of GCNWI, Junior Achievement, and The House of the Good Shepherd. She is also a trustee of DePaul University, and is an active member of The Economic Club of Chicago, The Chicago Network, as well as the ABA, ISBA and the Chicago Bar Association.

She has a B.A., JD as well as an Honorary Doctorate from DePaul University.
