The National Advertising Division (NAD) Annual Conference, NAD 2022, took place in Washington, D.C. on September 19 and 20 and included more than 39 expert speakers across 14 engaging sessions. NAD 2022, brought together advertising and legal professionals, academic and industry experts, government officials, and businesses of all sizes to examine how brand advertising can build trust with consumers. The agenda included sessions addressing hot topics in advertising law including environmental sustainability, advertising issues raised by the metaverse and e-commerce as well as practical advice on the day-to-day issues that an increasingly competitive environment can raise.
