National Partner Program Committees

National Partners make an impact by serving on program committees. These issue specific committees will enable you to impact our industry self-regulation programs and guide us as we create solutions to meet future industry needs.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE

Includes all members and will provide feedback on the member experience, guidance for the annual membership conference, and explore additional opportunities to recruit, retain and engage members.

LEGAL REVIEW COMMITTEE

Open to any National Partner law firm. This committee would have the opportunity to provide feedback to specific programs of interest (e.g., CARU, NAD, CFBAI). Feedback could include (but is not limited to) a review of current processes, future opportunities in self-regulation, and review and comment on potential guidance development.

CHILDREN’S COMMITTEE

Open to Corporate National Partners who are also Children’s Advertising Review Unit (CARU) Supporters or Children’s Food & Beverage Advertising Initiative (CFBAI) participants or any child- or teen-directed program. Members of this committee have an interest in advertising, food & beverage, and privacy issues related to children/teens and will provide feedback on current processes and act as program ambassadors.

NATIONAL ADVERTISING COMMITTEE

Open to any National Partner interested in participating. This committee would provide feedback and guidance to the National Advertising Division (NAD). Specifically, they would provide feedback on current processes, recommend improvements, and act as program ambassadors to increase exposure of the NAD program and its advertising challenge process.

PRIVACY COMMITTEE

Open to any National Partner interested in participating. This committee provides feedback and guidance to our EU Privacy Shield Program, Digital Advertising Accountability Program, and the PrivacyCollective. Members have an opportunity to review current processes, recommend improvements, act as program ambassadors, and examine other opportunities of interest in the larger privacy space.

CONSUMER SALES COMMITTEE

Open to any National Partner with a current contract with the Direct Selling Self-Regulatory Council (DSSRC) program. This committee provides feedback and guidance concerning our direct selling programs. Specifically, they would provide feedback on current processes, recommend improvements, and act as program ambassadors to increase exposure of our programs to the coaching and mentoring industries.

CONSUMER DISPUTE RESOLUTION COMMITTEE

Open to any National Partner interested in participating. This committee provides feedback and guidance to the BBB AUTO LINE and Telecom Industry Dispute Resolution programs. Participants will also review current processes, recommend improvements, and act as program ambassadors.

EMERGING PROGRAMS COMMITTEE

Open to any National Partner interested in participating. This committee provides guidance concerning programs in development and will explore new opportunities, outside of our current programs, where our expertise in self-regulation and dispute resolution can be utilized.
