BBB National Programs' Center for Industry Self-Regulation (CISR) developed a new self-regulatory regime for AI in recruiting and hiring. The Principles for Trustworthy AI in Recruiting and Hiring serve as a global baseline standard for the use of AI applications in recruitment and hiring. The Independent Certification Protocols for AI-Enabled Hiring and Recruiting Technologies supplement the Principles by providing employers and vendors a framework for self-certifying compliance with the Principles.

A groundbreaking accountability program to protect consumer health data privacy when it is not covered by HIPAA.

To assist any business engaging with teen consumers, the TeenAge Privacy Program (TAPP) mapped the broad spectrum of potential privacy and online safety harms impacting teens onto a concrete set of operational considerations.

RMAI’s Receivables Management Certification Program aims to “provide enhanced consumer protections through rigorous and uniform industry standards of best practice.” Certified companies are audited for compliance with RMAI’s standards and deficiencies are referred to a Remediation Committee to cure such deficiencies. BBB National Programs independently administers the Remediation Committee for RMAI’s Receivables Management Certification Program.
