BBB National Programs, Inc. in its well respected Children's Advertising Review Unit (CARU) is seeking a Compliance Manager. This position is a hands-on role assisting staff attorneys in overseeing the day-to-day operations of CARU’s COPPA Safe Harbor program, particularly monitoring and auditing member websites and mobile apps for compliance with CARU’s program requirements. The Compliance Manager also reviews and responds as necessary to member and consumer inquiries, oversees our consumer complaints and maintains accurate internal department records for all compliance-related activities.
The Controller is accountable for the accounting operations of the Organization, including production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. The Controller will report to the CFO and assist with cash management and risk management.
This position supports the Director of Finance in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance Department with accounts payable and accounts receivable, and certain payroll processes.
