New York, NY – November 8, 2024 – In a challenge brought by competitor CoStar Group, the National Advertising Division determined that Move provided a reasonable basis for its claim that Realtor.com is the “#1 site real estate professionals trust.

11/07/2024 - National Advertising Division Recommends Verizon Discontinue or Modify Certain Claims for Satellite-Supported Texting Services
New York, NY – November 7, 2024 – In a Fast-Track SWIFT challenge brought by T-Mobile, the National Advertising Division recommended that Verizon either discontinue certain claims about satellite-supported texting services in remote locations or modify them to disclose the necessary conditions for Verizon customers to use this feature.

11/06/2024 - Following National Advertising Division Challenge, PetIQ Voluntarily Discontinues Certain Claims for NextStar Flea & Tick Topical
New York, NY – November 6, 2024 – Following a National Advertising Division challenge, PetIQ discontinued certain claims for its NextStar Flea & Tick topical flea prevention and treatment product, which appeared on PetIQ’s website, social media, and third-party websites.

11/04/2024 - National Advertising Division Finds Certain Safety Claims for Drunk Elephant Skincare Products Supported; Recommends Modification of Influencer Posts
New York, NY – November 4, 2024 – The National Advertising Division determined certain Drunk Elephant social media claims regarding skincare products being “safe for kids and tweens to use” were supported, but determined that two TikTok video influencer disclosures for Drunk Elephant's B-Goldi Bright Drops required modifications.

10/24/2024 - James Hardie Appeals National Advertising Division Recommendation to Discontinue Certain Claims for its Fiber Cement Siding
New York, NY – October 24, 2024 – The National Advertising Division determined that, in connection with certain testimonials for James Hardie’s fiber cement siding, no additional disclosure of material connections is necessary, but recommended that other claims be modified or discontinued.

10/23/2024 - National Advertising Division Finds Certain HEPA Claims for PuroAir 400 Air Purifiers and Filters Supported
New York, NY – October 23, 2024 – In a challenge brought by competitor Levoit, the National Advertising Division determined PuroAir provided a reasonable basis for claims that its PuroAir 400 air purifiers and filters have passed high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) standards.

10/17/2024 - National Advertising Division Recommends Comcast Discontinue or Modify Comcast Business Internet’s “12x Faster” Claim
New York, NY – October 17, 2024 – In a challenge brought by AT&T, the National Advertising Division (NAD) recommended Comcast, in connection with Comcast Business Internet discontinue or modify the claim “Comcast Business Internet has speeds up to 12x faster than Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile.”

10/16/2024 - In National Advertising Division Fast-Track SWIFT Case, Reckitt Voluntarily Discontinued “#1 Recommended” Claim for Finish Dishwashing Detergent
New York, NY – October 16, 2024 – The National Advertising Division has closed a Fast-Track SWIFT challenge initiated by P&G following the voluntary discontinuation of claims made by Reckitt Benckiser that its Finish dishwashing detergent is the “#1 Recommended in America.”

10/10/2024 - NAD Recommends Charter Discontinue or Modify Spectrum Internet “Fastest Speeds in More Neighborhoods than Any Other Provider” Claim
New York, NY – October 10, 2024 – The National Advertising Division recommended Charter discontinue or modify the claim that “Spectrum offers the fastest speeds in more neighborhoods than any other provider” to avoid conveying the unsupported message that Charter offers the fastest speeds and is available in more “neighborhoods.”
