8/15/2024 - National Advertising Division Finds Certain Claims for Online Corporate Formation Services Supported; Recommends LegalZoom Modify or Discontinue Others
New York, NY – August 15, 2024 – In a challenge brought by ZenBusiness, the National Advertising Division determined that LegalZoom provided a reasonable basis for certain claims regarding its online corporate formation services but recommended that it discontinue or modify others.

8/13/2024 - National Advertising Division Recommends ASO Discontinue “up to 2x Faster Healing” Claims for Hydrocolloid Gel Bandages
New York, NY – August 13, 2024 – In a challenge brought by Johnson & Johnson, the National Advertising Division recommended that ASO LLC discontinue its “up to 2x faster healing” claims for its hydrocolloid bandages.

8/08/2024 - National Advertising Division Finds Certain Deel Payroll and HRIS Claims Supported; Recommends Others be Modified or Discontinued
New York, NY – August 8, 2024 – The National Advertising Division determined that Deel provided a reasonable basis for certain claims, but recommended that Deel modify or discontinue certain other claims, including comparative claims versus Rippling’s native payroll software, legal compliance, and customer support. -
7/30/2024 - National Advertising Division Finds Xfinity Internet Fast, Reliable, and “Powerful” Claim Supported
New York, NY – July 30, 2024 – The National Advertising Division determined that Comcast Cable provided a reasonable basis for the claims that Xfinity Internet is fast, reliable, and “powerful.”

7/29/2024 - National Advertising Division Finds Certain Claims for Shark Detect Pro Supported; Recommends SharkNinja Modify or Discontinue Others
New York, NY – July 29, 2024 – The National Advertising Division (NAD) determined that SharkNinja provided a reasonable basis for certain modified claims and the claim that the Shark Cordless Detect Pro Auto-Empty System base “holds dirt and debris for up to 30 days.” However, NAD recommended that SharkNinja discontinue or modify certain “50% better dirt pick up” claims and comparative cleaning claims vs. other Shark vacuums.

New York, NY – July 24, 2024 – The National Advertising Division recommended Dr. Luke Healthcare discontinue certain claims for Dr. Luke’s Fungal Nail Renewal product, including health-related claims, natural claims, and claims that a doctor recommends the product or that it treats a medical condition.

New York, NY – July 17, 2024 – In a Fast-Track SWIFT challenge, the National Advertising Division determined that use of a flag image on product packaging for Kendal Nutricare’s Kendamil infant formula reasonably conveys a supported message about the products’ origin.
