Direct Selling Self-Regulatory Council Recommends LiveGood Discontinue Certain Earnings and Health-Related Product Claims
McLean, VA – May 13, 2025 – The Direct Selling Self-Regulatory Council (DSSRC) of BBB National Programs recommended that LiveGood, Inc. USA modify or discontinue certain earnings and health-related product performance claims shared by salesforce members across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
The advertising claims were made by LiveGood, a direct selling company that sells a variety of multivitamins and supplements with a focus on sleep aids, inflammation management, muscle recovery, and weight management. This inquiry, which included 18 earnings claims and six product performance claims, was commenced by DSSRC through its ongoing independent monitoring of advertising and marketing claims in the direct selling industry.
In this case, DSSRC was concerned that the subject claims communicated the message that LiveGood salesforce members can generally expect to earn significant income from the LiveGood business opportunity and that the LiveGood products are effective at treating serious health-related conditions.

As in DSSRC’s 2024 inquiry, LiveGood did not try to substantiate the claims at issue and removed almost half of the claims identified in this inquiry and provided DSSRC with copies of takedown request communications to the individuals responsible for the remaining posts.
DSSRC recommended that LiveGood pursue appropriate enforcement mechanisms, including the termination or suspension of the individuals’ account if the posts were made by active salesforce members, for any salesforce member that is unresponsive to LiveGood’s takedown requests. DSSRC also requests that LiveGood attempt to contact the social media platform where the posts appear to advise them of the unauthorized claims and provide DSSRC with copies of that correspondence.
Finally, DSSRC recommends that LiveGood post a statement in the comment section of the accessible posts to inform viewers that the claims made in the post have not been authorized by LiveGood.
Because this is the second inquiry into LiveGood, and LiveGood did not provide a Company statement indicating an intent to comply with DSSRC’s recommendations, DSSRC will continue to closely monitor the earnings and product performance claims disseminated by LiveGood and its salesforce members and will initiate a compliance inquiry should it identify an ongoing pattern of unsupported claims.
