The Magnum Ice Cream Company Joins the Children's Food and Beverage Advertising Initiative

McLean, VA – April 29, 2026 – BBB National Programs Children’s Food and Beverage Advertising Initiative (CFBAI) welcomes The Magnum Ice Cream Company as the newest participant in the food advertising pledge program. By enrolling in CFBAI, Magnum has publicly pledged to not engage in advertising primarily directed to children under age 13 unless the advertised foods meet CFBAI’s nutrition criteria. 

The Magnum Ice Cream Company is the largest ice cream company in the world, with over one hundred years of expertise and heritage. Magnum’s CFBAI pledge commitment covers all brands and products in its U.S. portfolio, including Ben & Jerry’s, Magnum, Breyers, and Klondike. 

Through its CFBAI participation, Magnum joins the coalition of other leading food, beverage, and quick-serve restaurant companies that have made a public commitment to improve the children’s food advertising landscape. Starting with 10 companies in 2007, CFBAI now includes 17 of the largest food and beverage companies in the U.S.
