DSSRC Administrative Closure #13

DSSRC contacted a direct selling company regarding two claims made by Company distributors that potential recruits can achieve financial freedom and that their products have health benefits.

The Company responded to DSSRC and indicated that it has advised distributors that claims of final freedom are no longer acceptable pursuant to the Company’s Compliance Policy and that the health-related claim disseminated by the distributor was not authorized.

Accordingly, the Company advised DSSRC that it has taken all necessary compliance measures to assure that the claims have been removed, an action that DSSRC concluded was necessary and appropriate.
