2/08/2024 - National Advertising Division Recommends Kimberly-Clark Discontinue Huggies “#1 Best Fitting Diaper” Claims and Modify Others
New York, NY – February 8, 2024 – BBB National Programs’ National Advertising Division recommended that Kimberly-Clark discontinue claims that Huggies is the “#1 Best Fitting Diaper” and modify its advertising to, among other things, avoid conveying that its diapers have a superior fit over all diapers on the market.

2/08/2024 - National Advertising Review Board Recommends Mint Mobile Discontinue or Modify Certain Claims for its Wireless Service
New York, NY – February 8, 2024 – A panel of the National Advertising Review Board (NARB) recommended that Mint Mobile modify or discontinue cost-per-month pricing promos, discontinue the “cut out the cost of retail service and passed those sweet savings directly to you” claim, and discontinue disparaging social media posts.

New York, NY – February 5, 2024 – A panel of the National Advertising Review Board (NARB) recommended that Comcast discontinue use of the term 10G in the product service name “Xfinity 10G Network” and when 10G is used descriptively to describe the Xfinity network.

New York, NY – January 29, 2024 – BBB National Programs’ National Advertising Division has closed a Fast-Track SWIFT challenge initiated by Charter Communications, Inc. regarding express and implied advertising claims for Verizon Communications Inc.’s 5G Home Internet service.

1/24/2024 - Modere Voluntarily Discontinues Certain Earnings & Health-Related Product Claims; Direct Selling Watchdog Recommends Others be Discontinued
McLean, VA – January 24, 2024 – The Direct Selling Self-Regulatory Council (DSSRC) of BBB National Programs recommended that Modere modify or discontinue certain earnings and health-related product performance claims for its Ova and Ova-m products. The advertising claims were brought to DSSRC by a non-governmental advocacy group (NGO).

1/22/2024 - Focus Consumer Healthcare Appeals National Advertising Division Recommendation to Discontinue Certain Pamprin Botanicals Claims
New York, NY – January 22, 2024 – The National Advertising Division recommended that Focus Consumer Healthcare discontinue certain claims for its Pamprin Botanicals dietary supplement for PMS symptom relief and recommended that Focus modify several express and implied claims that Pamprin Botanicals is natural. Regarding the name Pamprin Botanicals as well as Pamprin Botanicals’ “tried and trusted” claim, NAD concluded that no modification was necessary.

1/11/2024 - National Advertising Division Recommends SharkNinja Discontinue or Modify Claim that Shark is “America’s #1 Floorcare Brand”
New York, NY – January 11, 2024 – In a Fast-Track SWIFT challenge brought by Bissell, the National Advertising Division recommended that SharkNinja discontinue the claim that it is “America’s #1 Floorcare Brand” or modify the claim to state, as part of the main claim, that it is the #1 brand in dollar sales.
