  • 8/14/2007 - NAD Examines Advertising For Rexall Sundown’s Osteo Bi-Flex Dietary Supplement

    The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus  has determined that Rexall Sundown has provided adequate substantiation for certain advertising claims made for its Osteo Bi-Flex Dietary Supplement, which contains glucosamine and chondroitin.   NAD has further recommended the company modify certain other claims and the company has said it intends to appeal those finding to the National Advertising Review Board (NARB).
  • 8/13/2007 - Euro-Pro, Dyson Participate In NAD Forum

     The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus  has determined that Euro-Pro Operating, LLC, which manufactures the Shark Infinity NV30 and NV31 vacuum cleaners, has provided reasonable substantiation for certain suction, superior cleaning, clean air, technology and patent claims. NAD has recommended certain modifications.
  • 8/01/2007 - McNeil Challenges P&G Ad Claims Before NAD Forum

    The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus  has recommended that Procter & Gamble, the manufacturer of NyQuil Multi-Symptom Cold/Flu Relief, modify certain advertising claims for the product. 
  • 7/31/2007 - Target Corp. Participates In NAD Forum

    The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has determined that text included on packaging for  Target Moisturizing Scar Lotion by Target Corporation does not represent an advertising claim that requires substantiation.
  • 7/25/2007 - NAD Examines Advertising For Intuit’s Turbo Tax Software

    The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has determined that Intuit Inc., has provided reasonable support for advertising claims made for its Turbo Tax Online software.
  • 7/24/2007 - Nestlé Purina Petcare, P&G Participate In NAD Forum

    The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has recommended that Nestlé Purina PetCare modify certain claims for its for its Purina Dog Chow  products.
  • 7/23/2007 - NAD Examines Advertising For P&G’s ‘Secret Clinical Strength’

    The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has determined that certain establishment claims and product-performance and comparative claims made by Procter & Gamble for its “Secret Clinical Strength” antiperspirant product are fully substantiated.
  • 7/12/2007 - NAD Reviews Advertising For Bayer One-A-Day All-Day Energy

    The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has recommended that Bayer Healthcare discontinue durational claims and modify the name of its All-Day Energy multivitamin. NAD determined that this durational claim is not adequately supported by the evidence presented to NAD during its inquiry. Bayer Healthcare has said it will appeal to the National Advertising Review Board (NARB) NAD’s decision as it relates to the product name.
  • 7/02/2007 - NAD Reviews Advertising For General Mills’ Cheerios

    The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus determined that General Mills substantiated its cholesterol reduction claim for Cheerios cereal but recommended that the company  modify disclosures related to such claims.
  • 6/21/2007 - Primal Nutrition Participates In NAD Forum

    The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has determined that Primal Nutrition, Inc. can support certain advertising claims for “Damage Control Master Formula,” but recommended the company modify claims that the product is the “most powerful” antioxidant on the market.
