  • 7/16/2008 - NAD Reviews Advertising For Vital Pharmaceuticals ‘Redline Princess’

    The National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has recommended that Vital Pharmaceuticals, which markets the energy drink “Redline Princess,” modify or discontinue certain advertising claims for the product.

  • 8/28/2007 - Procter & Gamble Pet Care, Hill’s Pet Nutrition Participate In NAD Forum

    The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has recommended that Procter & Gamble Pet Care, maker of Iams brand pet food, modify a “veterinarian recommended” claim that has appeared in broadcast, print and Internet advertising.

  • 8/23/2007 - NAD Refers North American Herb & Spice To FTC

    The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has referred advertising for Oreganol P73, a product marketed by North American Herb & Spice, to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for review.

  • 8/16/2007 - NAD Examines Advertising Claims For Hershey ‘Special Dark’ Chocolate

    The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has determined that advertising claims for “Special Dark Chocolate”, manufactured and sold by The Hershey Company, are substantiated by competent and reliable scientific evidence.

  • 8/15/2007 - NAD Examines Advertising For L’Oreal USA’s Garnier Nutritioniste Ultra LifT, Skin Renew

    The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has recommended that L’Oreal USA modify or discontinue certain claims made for the company’s Ultra Lift skin-care product, though it found support for certain ingredient claims. NAD found reasonable support for certain claims made for L’Oreal Skin Renew, but recommended a claim relating to the benefits of lycopene in the product be modified or discontinued.

  • 8/14/2007 - NAD Examines Advertising For Rexall Sundown’s Osteo Bi-Flex Dietary Supplement

    The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus  has determined that Rexall Sundown has provided adequate substantiation for certain advertising claims made for its Osteo Bi-Flex Dietary Supplement, which contains glucosamine and chondroitin.   NAD has further recommended the company modify certain other claims and the company has said it intends to appeal those finding to the National Advertising Review Board (NARB).

  • 8/13/2007 - Euro-Pro, Dyson Participate In NAD Forum

     The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus  has determined that Euro-Pro Operating, LLC, which manufactures the Shark Infinity NV30 and NV31 vacuum cleaners, has provided reasonable substantiation for certain suction, superior cleaning, clean air, technology and patent claims. NAD has recommended certain modifications.

    The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus  has recommended that Procter & Gamble, the manufacturer of NyQuil Multi-Symptom Cold/Flu Relief, modify certain advertising claims for the product. 

  • 7/31/2007 - Target Corp. Participates In NAD Forum

    The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has determined that text included on packaging for  Target Moisturizing Scar Lotion by Target Corporation does not represent an advertising claim that requires substantiation.

  • 7/25/2007 - NAD Examines Advertising For Intuit’s Turbo Tax Software

    The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has determined that Intuit Inc., has provided reasonable support for advertising claims made for its Turbo Tax Online software.
