4/01/2020 - NAD Finds New World Pasta Can Support Whole-Grain Claims Challenged by Barilla
The National Advertising Division has determined that New World Pasta (NWP), the maker of Ronzoni pasta products, can support “whole grains” claims made for the company’s “Healthy Harvest Pasta.” The claims were challenged by Barilla America, Inc., a competing maker of pasta products. -

The National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus Claims has determined that Nature’s Way Products, Inc., can support certain advertising claims for the company’s Umcka ColdCare Chewable Tablet product. NAD recommended the company discontinue certain claims, including comparative performance claims.

(SPI), a maker of hospital scrubs and other garments, violated the procedures that govern the advertising industry’s system of self-regulation by directly promoting the outcome of an advertising challenge case decided by NAD. -

The National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has determined that Specialty Fertilizer Products, LLC, provided reasonable support for certain advertising claims made for its NutriSphere-N product, but recommended the advertiser discontinue a durational claim. -

The National Advertising Division has recommended that ThunderWorks, LLC, modify or discontinue certain claims related to the company’s “Thundershirt,” a pressure wrap designed to relieve canine anxiety, including claims that “ .. thousands of vets agree – our ThunderShirt is the easiest, safest solution for noise anxiety.” -

The National Advertising Division concluded that T-Mobile USA, Inc. had substantiated its claims that it offers a combination of baseball benefits and streaming video capabilities to support its “Best Network for Streaming Baseball” claim. -
4/01/2020 - NAD Finds T-Mobile Can Support Broadcast Advertising for ‘Jump’ Program, Recommends Company Modify Website
The National Advertising Division has determined that T-Mobile USA, Inc., can support certain advertising claims for the company’s “Jump” program. However, NAD recommended the company modify its JUMP website to more clearly disclose deductibles that may apply if one’s phone is lost, damaged or stolen. -
