2/09/2009 - NAD Refers Advertising For Central Coast Nutraceuticals “Colotox” To FTC, FDA For Review
The National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus will refer advertising for Central Coast Nutraceuticals “Colotox” to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for further review, following the company’s failure to respond to an NAD inquiry. -

The National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has recommended that the Unilever discontinue advertising claims for its Promise Brand Soft Spread that suggest or state the product has been endorsed by cardiologists. Unilever has said it will appeal the NAD’s decision to the National Advertising Review Board (NARB). -
