New York, NY – October 12, 2023 – In a challenge brought by T-Mobile US, Inc., the National Advertising Division (NAD) determined that Comcast provided a reasonable basis for its “Next Generation” claims, but recommended it modify or discontinue "10G" claims.

10/12/2023 - Comcast Appeals National Advertising Division Recommendation to Discontinue or Modify Xfinity “10G” Claim
New York, NY – October 12, 2023 – The National Advertising Division (NAD) recommended that Comcast discontinue the claim “10G” or qualify the claim to make clear that Comcast is implementing improvements that will enable it to achieve 10G and that 10G is aspirational or use “10G” in a manner that is not false or misleading.

New York, NY – October 12, 2023 – The National Advertising Division (NAD) determined that Louisiana-Pacific provided a reasonable basis for one home siding product, however, NAD recommended certain quantified and unquantified superiority claims be modified or discontinued.

New York, NY – October 4, 2023 – In a Fast-Track SWIFT challenge brought by AT&T, the National Advertising Division (NAD) recommended that Mint Mobile discontinue or modify the claim that its Unlimited Plan is “now just $15/mo.”

New York, NY – September 21, 2023 – The National Advertising Division (NAD) has referred advertising claims made by SBLA Beauty, Inc. to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) after the company failed to provide a substantive response to NAD’s inquiry.

New York, NY – August 25, 2023 – The National Advertising Division (NAD) recommended that Agape Diamonds modify its advertising by clearly and conspicuously disclosing the origin of its simulated diamonds and laboratory-grown diamonds (LGDs).

8/24/2023 - National Advertising Division Finds Jukebox Soap “Natural” Claims Supported; Dr. Squatch Appeals Recommendation to Discontinue or Modify Other Claims
New York, NY – August 24, 2023 – The National Advertising Division (NAD) determined that Dr. Squatch had a reasonable basis for its “natural” claims for Jukebox Soap and that the claim “no harsh chemicals” was supported. However, NAD recommended that Dr. Squatch discontinue other claims.
