3/16/2009 - Epson America, Texas Instruments Participate In NAD Forum
The National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has determined that Epson America can support certain advertising claims made for the company’s 3LCD Projector Technology. NAD recommended, however, that the advertiser modify or discontinue certain claims. -
3/10/2009 - CARU Recommends Swimways Modify Advertising To Clearly Depict Adult Supervision
The Children’s Advertising Review Unit of the Council of Better Business Bureaus, Inc., has recommended Swimways Corporation modify future advertising to assure that broadcast advertising for its products depicts appropriate adult supervision. The company has agreed to do so. -

NAD determined that the advertiser provided reasonable support for certain claims. -
2/26/2009 - Crayola Participates In CARU Forum
The Children’s Advertising Review Unit (CARU) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus, Inc., has recommended that Crayola, LLC., a Hallmark Company, modify the disclosure in television advertising for Crayola’s “Color Explosion Glow Board” to assure children understand batteries are not included with the toy. -
2/24/2009 - Following Third Compliance Review, NAD Refers Advertising For ‘Enfamil’ Infant Formula To FTC
The National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has referred advertising Mead Johnson Nutritionals for Enfamil Lipil infant formula to the Federal Trade Commission for further review, following NAD’s third compliance review.
